Scooters are one of the biggest innovations in self propelled and cheap transportation since the invention of the wheel. Scooter ares easy to ride, use and come in a wide range of models. There are different types of scooters and labeling them all just ‘scooter’ can be confusing. Here is a brief guide to scooter types:
Motor Scooters comes in gas scooters or mopeds (less than 50cc engines). Basic Motor Scooters (50cc up to 150cc or more). Performance motor scooters (150cc, 250cc or greater). Luxury motor scooters which are designated “touring scooters” (150cc, 250cc or greater).
Vespa scooters or classic scooters usually refers to the Italian line of scooters manufactured by Piaggio.
Electric Motor Scooters are as they sound electrical. Engines of electric scooters are getting more and more powerful and reliable. Electric scooters are also environment friendly as they do no emit harmful greenhouse gases
Mobility Scooters usually refers to aiding disabled or elderly person getting around.
Razor Scooters or kick scooters don’t have engines. Razor scooters are usually divided into 4 categories: A1, A2, A3, and the Pro models.
